“I am committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care tailored to each individual, ensuring every patient feels heard, respected, and supported.”
Yuliya Orlova, MSN, PMHNP-BC, is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner offering compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to adolescents, adults, and seniors. She is licensed as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in New York (since July 2025) and New Jersey (since September 2025), and holds Registered Nurse licensure in New Jersey since May 2011, allowing her to serve clients in person and through secure telepsychiatry visits.
With more than fifteen years in clinical nursing and dedicated psychiatric experience across inpatient psychiatric programs, assertive community treatment (PACT), and long-term services and supports (LTSS) case management, Yuliya brings a comprehensive understanding of mental illness, dual diagnoses, neurodevelopmental conditions, and complex medical-behavioral needs. At Trinitas Regional Medical Center in Elizabeth, NJ, she provides direct psychiatric care, administers and monitors psychiatric medications, leads patient education on medication adherence and wellness strategies, and writes detailed psychiatric notes in Epic.
Yuliya is fluent in English, Spanish, and Russian, and is deeply committed to culturally responsive, inclusive psychiatric care that meets the needs of multicultural communities. She welcomes clients from diverse backgrounds, identities, and life experiences, and tailors each evaluation and treatment plan to honor the individual in front of her. Her clinical training spans P&P Psychiatric and Recovery Center (Springfield, NJ), Complete Care at Madison (Matawan, NJ), and Alameda Health Care Center (Perth Amboy, NJ).
Beyond clinical practice, Yuliya holds a Master of Arts in Spanish Language from Moscow State University and previously taught Spanish at Epiphany School, reflecting a lifelong passion for languages, education, and cross-cultural connection. These interests inform her bedside manner: she values clear communication, patient and family education, and helping every client truly understand their diagnosis, medications, and recovery options.
